Then this course is for you to create a Whole-school Yoga Provision and transform the way you teach.
Prerequisite for this course is at least 1 year of yoga practice and teaching of yoga in your school setting.

On successful completion of course you will:
- Have a greater depth of understanding and respect for Yoga philosophy and science
- Have a good understanding of children’s anatomy and physiology specific for teaching Yoga
- Know and be able to teach 230 Yoga Postures, Partner Poses, Breathing and Mindful Techniques and Games
- To use your knowledge to create your own postures relevant to your topic
- Be able to effectively design, plan, teach and evaluate your own Yoga classes and stories
- Be able to follow codes of practice for children’s Yoga
- Know what Yoga Props are essential to run various Yoga Games
- Be given Yoga Teaching tips for SEN children
- Become a Yoga Leader for your Primary School
- To enable you to effectively teach Yoga within the curriculum
- To create your own Yoga Scheme of Work
- To train other Year Group Teachers with the aid of the ‘Teachers Yoga Booster Course’

2. Yoga Philosophy Unit
In the following lessons you will learn some of the basics of 'Yoga Philosophy'. It is important to have an understanding of yoga philosophy when teaching children yoga, so you can incorporate them into your class plans. Many of the teachings of yoga philosophy can help children navigate their way through life.
3. Anatomy & Physiology Unit
It is important to understand a childs development and their anatomy and physiology when teaching yoga to children. This will help you to teach it to them safely and you can share how each posture or breathing technique can benefit them.

5. Children and Young People's Mental Health Unit
When working in an educational setting it is essential to consider the child's wellbeing and if they have any mental illness.
6. Practical Guide to the Basic Postures, Breathing Techniques, Partner Poses and Mindful activities and games Unit
Here you will find a visual and descriptive guide to all the practical elements you will need to include in a yoga class. You will need to know these thoroughly and be able to teach them confidently. There are so many more you can include so please refer to the resources section but please familiarise and practice these basic ones first. You can also purchase the Yoga cards for use in your class which is an excellent resource and can be a lesson in itself.
7. Effective Teaching Practice Unit
Now you have the knowledge, it is time to learn about how to put it into practice and actually teach yoga. This section will guide you through an effective teaching practice when specifically teaching yoga.
